International Service Disruption
The United States Postal Service (USPS) should resume accepting mail for Canada within the next few weeks pending Canada Post's progress in processing their backlog. The USPS suspended mail acceptance for Canada on November 29, 2024, at the request of Canada Post due to a national strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.  Canada Post is still processing a large backlog of mail and parcels, and customers can expect delays into 2025. It may take weeks for the network to return to normal.
